    make sure you dont spill any on the floor , put the bucket on the side of the tank and pour slowly ?

    @BIGGESTxxEMINEMxxFAN this is true some freshwater fish do not need aquarium salt, it can shorting their life. most people should do their research, but what aquarium salt is mostly use for is to prevent dieases and better gill support. the best time to use aquarium salt is when a fish is pregnant this reduces stress on a fish, when you introduce fish into your tank after you have accilmate your fish & to treat dieases such as ich for example. aquarium salt is 100% different from marine salt.

    This video is horrible… The tank still looks the same as the beggining, It dosent look clean.. and you siphoned one of your fish… -.- And aquarium salt is bad for some freshwater fish.

  • lesterclaypool1

    @MegaPlanelover well ive owned pet stores that speciallise in fish and we dont remove the plants or rocks when we clean ,,, and if you do regular water changes and filter matinence you dont have to go these extremes and possibly kill or recycle your tanks biological and never ever do 50 % water changes this results in cloudy water ,,, do regular 10 % changes even less if your tests say your tank water is better than your tap water

    I never knew you had to leave a certain amount of water in the tank…I usually take out all the water and pour in clean one…..everyday you learn something new!!!

  • spikeyjames97

    @MegaPlanelover o yeh

  • journeyquest1

    You need an undergravel filter, some bottom feeders and maybe a couple freshwater clams to keep the bottom cleaner. Use bottled water from the beginning and dont over feed. This will help cut down on cleaning. Oh ya, do a better job decorating your aquarium. Cool fish, Flame dwarf Gouramis, Sailfin Mollys, Cardinal Tetras, Swordtails, Painted Platies, Cobalt Blue Lobster. Read up on these before you buy. Water Ph, temperature, ect.

    @specolishead1 What, you want your tank to be cleaned by her down there?

  • boss5468

    You really shouldn’t pull the siphoning tube across the bottom like that. Your letting waste and other pollutants into the water. Instead the siphon should be done vertically to trap the waste and get it out. You should not tell people mis-information like this. Now you’ll have people learning hthe wrong way!

    she is so fukin annoying

  • sidewaysntraffic

    @boarding5401 But it’s fun.

  • chrissydeg

    in my opinion never clean your filter when you just clean the gravel and water change.
    it can upset the fish and bacteria is all destroyed.
